We are constructing an online portal, in collaboration with the gEAR database team, for accessing the time course scRNA-seq analysis from Steinhart et al.
Data derived from:
Steinhart MR, van der Valk WH, Osorio D, Serdy SA, Zhang J, Nist-Lund C, Sun L, Lee J†*, Koehler KR†*. Mapping oto-pharyngeal development in a human inner ear organoid model. Development 150, (2023).
Clicking the link above will redirect you to a UCSC Cell Browser-powered interface to explore scRNA-seq data from day-6 and day-29 human skin organoids generated from WA25 hESCs and DSP-GFP hiPSCs. We would like to thank Hongyu Gao at the Indiana University Center for Medical Genomics for helping to establish this web portal.
Data derived from:
Lee J, Rabbani C, Gao H, Steinhart M, Woodruff BW, Pflum Z, Kim A, Heller S, Liu Y, Shipchandler TZ, Koehler KR. Hair-bearing human skin generated entirely from pluripotent stem cells. Nature, 2020, June; doi: https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-020-2352-3
Here we assembled a comprehensive multi-omics reference atlas of prenatal human skin (7–17 post-conception weeks), combining single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data, to characterize the microanatomical tissue niches of the skin. This atlas revealed that crosstalk between non-immune and immune cells underpins the formation of hair follicles, is implicated in scarless wound healing and is crucial for skin angiogenesis.
